having a purpose [title] by janice giles

‘i have no purpose’ Lucy walis and jumps off a 10-storey building. She lands on a bus.
The bus pulls over to stop and misses the next set of green traffic lights. A 30-year-old pregnant woman sits on the right-hand side of the bus. A run-away Mac truck ploughs through the red light on the right where the bus would have been.
The pregnant woman’s son grows up to invent a device the negates [counters if you weren’t sure] the effects of carbon fume emissions. The divice saves the world from the full effects of global warming. He is a hero.
Lucy’s funeral goes unattended.

this is not to make you jump off a 10-storey building or anything to that affect. BUT if you do i will personally kill you a second time when i die…comprende?
